Colorado Higher-Education Interdisciplinary Program - Colorado State University GK-12 Program: A multi-disciplinary research and teaching program in biomedical engineering for discovery and understanding of cell communication

International Activities

In Summer 2010, the GK-12 program is collaborating with the Majdic laboratory at The University of Ljubljana in Slovenia to provide graduate fellows research experience in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Electrical Engineering at The University of Ljubljana.

The goal of the program is for graduate fellows to broaden their perceptions, learn better communication skills, and share research processes with others in their field. Graduate fellows will also spend time in a grammar school in Ljubljana to talk to teachers about their research projects.

At the end of the collaboration, there will be a joint research symposium entitled "Understanding cell communication using modern microelectronics." See the Program for the Research Symposium.
